Man, 65, Seriously Injured in Crash at Highway 395 and Air Expressway
ADELANTO (August 6, 2018) – A man was seriously injured after his car was hit by a truck at Highway 395 and Air Expressway on Saturday evening, according to Victor Valley News and The Daily Press.
The accident was reported on August 4 at approximately 7:05 p.m.
As per the reports, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Victor Valley Station said a 31-year-old Yuba City man was operating a 2015 Freightliner commercial truck north on Highway 395 when at the same time a 65-year-old Adelanto man was driving a 2007 Saturn Ion west on Air Expressway.

Witnesses claimed that the truck driver allegedly ran a red light as he entered the intersection and hit the driver’s side of the car. The big rig was pulling a trailer when the wreck occurred.
Deputies affirmed that the 65-year-old motorist was extricated from the Saturn and was flown to Loma Linda University Medical Center with major injuries. His name and condition at the moment remained unknown.
Meanwhile, the Ion sustained major damage to the driver side and the tractor-trailer had major front-end damage as a result of the crash. The operator of the semi was unharmed in the incident which is still under investigation.
