Woman, Child Hospitalized After Collision at Kemper and Stevens
Adelanto, CA (November 18, 2022) – Three people suffered serious injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Kemper Avenue and Stevens Street.
The Victor Valley News Group reported a crash involving a white Nissan Pathfinder SUV, and a semi truck took place early Friday in Adelanto. For reasons still unclear, the two vehicle collided at the intersection of Kemper and Stevens.
Major Injury Car Accident in Adelanto
Shortly after 6:15 a.m., the San Bernardino County Fire arrived at the location. First responders found the woman driving the SUV trapped in the wreckage. According to the article published online, the adult female and a child both suffered major trauma as a result of the incident. Firefighters used the jaws of life to extricate the 32-year-old woman, then airlifted her to a hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Authorities added a child was also taken by a helicopter to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the third victim reportedly sustained minor injuries and received medical aid at the scene.
At this time, detectives handling the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the deadly happened at Kemper Avenue and Stevens Street in Adelanto.
