ADELANTO, California (March 27, 2017) – Two were injured in a traffic collision at Adelanto Road and Air Expressway Sunday night, March 26, according to The Daily Press.
The accident involving a San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department deputy occurred shortly after 8 p.m.
As per the article, the deputy was headed north on Adelanto Road when he collided with a white 2017 GMC Sierra at the intersection.
The deputy, who is assigned to the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, was responding to a foot pursuit in progress in the area of Adelanto Road and Yates Avenue when the crash took place.
Officials said the deputy and a San Diego man were transported to a local hospital with injuries considered as minor. Their names were not disclosed.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
