Big Rig Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Near Colusa Road Saturday
Adelanto, CA (January 29, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 395, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a semi truck hit an individual on the highway near Colusa Road. The force from the impact threw the victim onto the right-hand shoulder of the freeway in Adelanto.
The CHP logged the case Saturday at abut 9:10 p.m.
When medical personnel arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the pedestrian found lying on the ground. Paramedics attempted to save the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Officials mentioned a gray Mini Cooper was found at the scene. However, it remained unclear if the driver played a rolled in the unfortunate event.
Further investigation is ongoing on the deadly pedestrian accident on Highway 395 in Adelanto.
