1 Killed, 3 Critically Injured in Adelanto Crash at Highway 395 and Holly Road
ADELANTO, CA (May 29, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and critically injured three others at Highway 395 and Holly Road in Adelanto.
According to an article published by the Victor Valley News, the tragic accident occurred on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:25 p.m. near the Adelanto Stadium.
A gold-colored 2002 Toyota Camry and a white 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck collided for an unknown reason in Adelanto. The two crashed at the intersection of Highway 395 and Holly Road.
Child Victim in Car Collision Near Stadium
Paramedics responded and then pronounced the male driver of the GMC dead at the scene. Firefighters extricated two trapped occupants of the Toyota from the wreckage.
The rescued individuals and a child in the backseat of the Camry sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. Medical soon rushed them to a hospital and listed them in critical condition.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officials shut down both directions of Highway 395 between Cactus Road and Rancho Road following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Adelanto crash is still under investigation.
