1 Killed, 1 Injured in Traffic Collision on Highway 395 Sunday
Adelanto, CA (May 23, 2021) – One person died, and another suffered serious injuries following a car crash on Highway 395 Sunday morning.
The Victor Valley News reported a vehicle with two occupants was traveling south on US-395 at about 10:15 a.m. Officials believed the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver encountered a large dust cloud.
According to the article published online, the driver lost control of the car and ended up slamming into a pole in the 21300 block of Highway 395. The horrible crash took place north of Colusa Road in Adelanto.
Female Passenger Dead After Car Accident in Adelanto, May 23
First responders reportedly found a female passenger trapped inside the wreckage. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the woman but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the male driver reportedly escaped death with major injuries. A helicopter landed near the accident scene then transported the injured motorist to Arrowhead Regional Medial Center.
Further investigation on the fatal car crash in Adelanto is underway.
