ADELANTO, California (April 20, 2014) — Linda Ann Harrell, 53, of Adelanto was killed Friday afternoon when the driver of a pickup truck pulled in front of her motorcycle as she was riding westbound on Palmdale Road near Bellflower Street, according to a press release by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
About 4:33 p.m., Harrell was riding her 1987 Yamaha motorcycle on Palmdale when a driver in a 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck heading southbound on Bellflower Street pulled out in front of her and she crashed into the side of the truck.
Police and paramedics responded to the motorcycle accident, but Harrell died at the scene.
The San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department is investigating the fatal motorcycle accident to determine liability for her death.
“This is a tragedy for this woman’s family and my prayers go out to them as they cope wth her sudden loss,” said Attorney James Johnson.
