Man Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Collision at Bunny and Broadway
Santa Maria, CA (March 21, 2023) – Police arrested Adolfo Zafra Dominguez following an injury pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Bunny Avenue and Broadway.
The KSBY News reported a vehicle struck a male party near the intersection in Santa Maria. Officials said the collision took place Monday night, March 20.
According to the article published online, Dominguez drove out of a parking lot and struck the man walking on the sidewalk. After hitting the pedestrian, the motorist continue driving and dragged the victim for several feet and later run him over. Paramedics later responded to the location and immediately rendered aid to the injured person. Our sources mentioned the pedestrian suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
Suspect Jailed After Major Pedestrian Accident in Santa Maria
Police later identified the hit-and-run driver as Adolfo Zafra Dominguez, a 48-year-old Santa Maria resident. Officers took the suspect into the Santa Barbara North County Jail on suspicion of felony hit and run and driving without a license.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
