 Adolph Madrid Thousand Palms Motorcycle Accident 10 Freeway

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (March 31, 2023) — Adolph Madrid, 51, of Santa Ana, died in a Thousand Palms motorcycle accident Thursday morning on the Interstate 10 Freeway, just west of Monterey Avenue.

The two-vehicle collision occurred in the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes around 9:31 a.m. on March 30th on the eastbound I-10 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Firefighters responded and paramedics provide CPR to at least one person who was badly injured in the crash. They treated at least three people who all suffered serious injuries following the collision between two motorcycles.

Three people were transported to Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, according to CAL Fire Riverside. Sadly, Adolph Madrid later died at the hospital around 10:27 a.m.

Meanwhile, authorities issued a SigAlert as they had two lanes closed due to the investigation and cleanup.

Investigators are piecing together what happened and will determine fault for the Thousand Palms motorcycle accident.
