Motorist Faces DUI and Hit-and-run Charges
CHICO, Calif. (Nov. 14, 2023) — Adrian Flores, 35, was arrested on hit-and-run and DUI charges after a collision Friday afternoon at State Highway 32 and Bruce Road in Chico.
The Sacramento man allegedly fled after the two-vehicle collision around 4:20 p.m. on Nov. 10th, according to Action News Now.
Witnesses told police the driver took off and abandoned his vehicle in the middle of the road before he fled on foot, the report said.
Police identified the suspect as Adrian Flores, 35, and reported he was on already on probation for a prior DUI conviction.
Meanwhile, the second driver involved in the crash was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries after the collision.
Adrian Flores is charged with hit and run causing injury and DUI causing injury and violation of DUI probation.
