DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. (July 23, 2018) — Adrian Villalobos, 24, was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated after he allegedly struck and killed a woman Friday night who was walking across Palm Drive, according to the Desert Sun.
The Sky Valley man is being held in lieu of $115,000 bail at the Riverside County Jail in Indio.
The fatal crash was reported on the northbound side of Palm Drive near Buena Vista about 8:10 p.m. on July 20th.
The 58-year-old woman was reportedly in the middle of the roadway at the time of the collision. Police closed down Palm Drive to investigate the collision.

At this time, it appears that Mr. Villalobos will be held responsible for this person’s death.
