1 Hospitalized After Crash at Penmark Road and Sierra Highway
Agua Dulce, CA (October 22, 2022) – A pedestrian accident occurred Wednesday night in the area of Penmark Road and Sierra Highway.
Pedestrian Hit and Injured by Vehicle in Agua Dulce
According to the Santa Clarita Valley, a vehicle struck an individual near the 353450 block of Penmark Road in Agua Dulce. The make and model of the car involved in the crash have not been revealed thus far.
Earlier reports indicated firefighters arrived on scene around 8:35 p.m. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all parties involved in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained major injuries as a result of the incident. A helicopter airlifted the patient to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Several factors surrounding the crash remained unclear. Given that, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the accident happened at Penmark Road and Sierra Highway.
