AGUANGA, California (December 9, 2014) – One person is dead and one moderately injured following a crash between a motorcyclist and a car late Monday afternoon on Highway 371 at Milepost 371, according to a press release by the Riverside County Fire Department.
The traffic accident took place at 5:43 p.m., CHP officers said. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to assist those who were injured and confirmed one person dead at the scene and transported a second person with moderate injuries to a local hospital, the report said.
Police area heading up an investigation into the Riverside County crash to determine liability.
“This is a tragedy for the family of this person,” said Attorney James Johnson. “My condolences go out to them as they cope with their sudden loss and try to piece together who this happened.”
