Aidet Hernandez Arrested DUI Crash Napa Highway 29 Highway 12/121

Aidet Hernandez, 22, Suspect in Napa DUI Crash at Highway 29 and Highway 12/121

NAPA, CA (August 5, 2021) – Authorities detained Aidet Hernandez after a DUI crash at Highway 29 and Highway 12/121 in Napa.

Police determined that the 22-year-old Napa woman was under the influence of alcohol when the accident occurred on Wednesday.

The incident began when Aidet Hernandez was driving a 2016 Ford Mustang south on Highway 29 in Napa. At the same time, a Jeep Liberty was going east on Highway 12/121.

Napa police said Aidet Hernandez then broadsided the Jeep turning left onto northbound Highway 29. The Napa Valley Register write that the wreck took place on August 4 at about 12:05 a.m.

Man Injured in Car Collision

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man driving the Jeep hurt as a result of the collision. They treated him for a forearm injury he sustained in the wreck.

Officials did not release the name of the wounded victim and his condition at this time. Meanwhile, police saw open alcohol containers in the Mustang.

Medical personnel took the injured suspect to the Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Officers soon booked Aidet Hernandez into the Napa County jail on suspicion of DUI causing injury.

The Napa DUI crash is still under investigation.
