 Aisha Shoats Killed in Littlerock Crash on Pearblossom Highway 138

Woman, 23, Identified as Final Crash Victim to be Identified

LITTLEROCK, Calif. (May 1, 2024) – Aisha Shoats, 23, was identified as the fifth person who died in a two-vehicle crash Sunday on Pearblossom (138) Highway in Littlerock, just south of Palmdale.

The other people who died in the crash were previously identified as Emilio Dermedy, 24, and Pauline Martinez Salinas, 20, Corry Holley, Jr., 23, and Reynaldo Alvarado, 60, the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner reports.

The deadly crash occurred on Highway 138 and 106th Street East at around 8:12 p.m. on Sunday, April 28th, in the Antelope Valley, according to KTLA 5 News and the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a blue or gray Mitsubishi sedan and a blue Toyota Yaris. One of the vehicles was occupied by four people and the other had a lone driver.

The circumstances leading up to the collision on the eastbound side of Pearblossom Highway are under investigation, police said. The Toyota overturned onto its roof in the brush on the side of the road and the Mitsubishi wound up on its side on the shoulder of the highway.

Meanwhile, several people became trapped in one of the two cars and both drivers and two passengers from the vehicles died at the scene. A third passenger was airlifted to a hospital where they later died.

The family of Pauline Martinez Salinas has a Gofundme page to raise money for her funeral.

Investigators closed down 106th Street East and are working determine the cause of the Littlerock crash on Pearblossom Highway.

Finally, the roadway reopened to traffic about 4:30 a.m. the next day.
