Alan Sherwood, 62, Killed in Victorville Crash at Del Gado and Manzano
VICTORVILLE, CA (June 24, 2022) – Alan Sherwood was killed after a motorcycle crash at Del Gado and Manzano roads in Victorville.
The coroner’s office identified the 62-year-old Victorville man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Tuesday.
The incident happened when Alan Sherwood was riding a 2002 Honda Shadow Sabre in the area of Del Gado and Manzano roads in Victorville.
The California Highway Patrol said for an unknown reason, he collided with a 2015 Toyota Corolla. The two crashed in the intersection.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The Victor Valley News wrote that the accident occurred on June 21 at about 3:48 p.m. Paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground.
Alan Sherwood ended up suffering from critical injuries as a result of the crash. An air ambulance then took the victim to the Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he died.
Meanwhile, the report did not mention if the driver of the car sustained any wound or if they stopped following the collision. The cause of the Victorville crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced the area of Del Gado and Manzano roads to shut down for a time as a result of the wreck. Anyone with information can call the CHP at 760-241-1186.
