Albert Arnold, 57, Victim Hit-and-Run Bicycle Accident on Broadway
LOS ANGELES, California (August 15, 2017) — Albert Arnold, 57, of Los Angeles has been identified as the bicyclist killed early Saturday morning in a hit-and-run crash at Broadway and 87th Place, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner.
The fatal bicycle accident was reported about 2:30 a.m. as Arnold attempted to cross eastbound in the northbound lanes of Broadway.
The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating the suspected hit-and-run motorist who fled the scene without stopping to help the victim. Arnold died of his injuries at the scene of the collision.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a late-model, dark-colored Chevrolet Tahoe SUV and the driver is a “heavyset black man.”
