October 13, 2018 – One person was killed, and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 145 Friday morning, according to Fresno Bee.

As per the article, a 1995 Dodge Dakota, a 2005 Ford F-150, a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, and a 2001 Ford Escape SUV were involved in the wreck.
Investigators determined the Dodge was heading west on Highway 145 when, for unknown reasons, it drifted into the opposite traffic lanes and hit the left front of the eastbound Ford.
The impact caused the Dodge to spin uncontrollably on the freeway, and collided with two other vehicles.
Primary reports indicated the Dodge driver died in the accident. Officials briefly identified the fatality as a 69-year-old Delphi man. The name of the deceased remained undisclosed pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities added the Ford Escape driver, 43-year-old Alberto H. Lopez, and his passenger suffered injuries as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, the Ford F-150 driver, 22-year-old Jose Alfredo Gomez, and Chevrolet driver, 34-year-old Juan Alberto Infante, were both unharmed in the collision.
The investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the accident.
