Alberto Toscano, 60, Fatal Victim in Rear-End Collision Near Highway 33 Friday
Crows Landing, CA (July 16, 2021) – Alberto Toscano, a 60-year-old man, died following a traffic accident on Eastin Road Friday morning.
The Modesto Bee News reported Alberto Toscano was operating a John Deere tractor towing a sprayer tank. The man from Newman was heading south on Eastin Road.
In the area just over a half-mile south of Highway 33, a Chevrolet pickup slammed into the back of the tractor. The force from the impact caused the tractor to veer off the roadway. Officials said the tractor overturned, causing the trailer to wrap around the power pole.
Meanwhile, the Chevrolet pickup ended up disabled on the east side of the roadway.
The horrible crash took place at about 5:30 a.m.

According to the article published online, responding paramedics found Alberto Toscano ejected onto the traffic lanes. Despite life-saving measures, the man succumbed to his injuries and died.
Meanwhile, authorities mentioned the driver of the Chevrolet, 24-year-old Cesar Bravo, sustained minor injuries from the wreck. The motorist said the sunrise limited his visibility, leading to the unfortunate event.
Further investigation on the fatal tractor accident is underway.
