Alden North, 28, Killed in Ceres Motorcycle Accident
CERES (July 18, 2017) – A motorcyclist died after a traffic collision on Monday evening in the area of East Hatch and Stonum roads, according to The Modesto Bee.
Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 28-year-old Alden North, of Modesto.
As per the article, Ceres Police Department said the accident took place at the intersection about 6 p.m. when a van was reportedly at a stop sign and facing south on Stonum Road.
The driver then tried to turn left on Hatch Road and cut off North who was riding his motorcycle west on Hatch.
Police affirmed that North was found down on the ground with severe injuries. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the operator of the van was unharmed following the fatal crash. The incident forced Hatch Road between Richland and Central avenues to close for several hours.

Authorities are gathering more information and evidence to conclude what caused the crash, and we are hopeful that soon enough, liability will be determined.
