Motorcyclist Killed in Beaumont Crash
BEAUMONT, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2021) — Alejandro Mejia, 29, of Yucaipa, died in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon on Potrero Boulevard.
The deadly crash happened about 12:50 p.m. on Dec. 27th at Four Seasons Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau.
Alejandro Mejia reportedly collided with a pickup truck due to unknown circumstances.
The motorcyclist went down in the roadway following the collision. Witnesses at the scene tried to revive him prior to the arrival of first responders, but sadly he died at the scene, according to the Beaumont Police Department. Meanwhile, the truck driver stopped and cooperated with authorities and the traffic investigation.
Police do not suspect drugs and or alcohol were factors in the two-vehicle crash.
The Beaumont Police Department is heading up an investigation into fault.
