Man Killed in Sacramento Crash Identified
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (February 12, 2020) – Alejandro Rangel, 46, of Sacramento, died in a pedestrian accident Monday night at Las Palmas Avenue and Rio Linda Boulevard in Sacramento.
The fatal traffic accident was reported to police about 6 p.m. near the Richardson Village Park, according to reports by CBS Sacramento and KCRA News.
The driver struck the victim at the intersection of Las Palmas Avenue and Rio Linda Boulevard.
Paramedics and police responded to the scene to help the injured man, but unfortunately he died at 6:10 p.m.
Meanwhile, police reported that the driver involved stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
