Fatal Motorcycle Accident at Locust Avenue and Casmalia
RIALTO (July 17, 2017)- According to the San Bernardino Coroner, a man identified as Alexander Blanco, 30, of Rialto, has been identified as the victim fatally injured in a collision Tuesday morning, Jully 11.
Rialto Police was contacted regarding a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV at 6:06 a.m.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Locust Avenue and Casmalia Street when the motorcyclist, Alexander Blanco, was struck by the SUV driver causing very serious injuries to Blanco.
The 30-year-old Rialto man was rushed to Community Hospital located in San Bernardino, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away just before 7:00 a.m.
There was no information provided regarding the status of the SUV driver and whether or not they were injured or unscathed following the accident.
Specific details regarding the cause of collision remain under investigation at this time.
A forensic examination of both the vehicle and the motorcycle, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators determine which party ultimately caused the accident. Others potential factors will be looked into as well including whether or not either the driver of the motorcyclist were under the influence at the time of the accident? Was either driver driving recklessly or over the speed limit prior to impact? What were the road conditions and how was the lighting in the vicinity of where the accident occurred? Each of these factors will be assessed allowing police officials to draw up a final conclusion.
