Alexander Ward Killed in Fiery Multi-Vehicle Crash on 91 Freeway in Riverside
Motorcyclist Dead, Another Critically Injured
RIVERSIDE, California (June 26, 2016) – Alexander Ward, 28, of Covina was killed and three were injured, one critically, in a multi-vehicle crash on the 91 freeway early Sunday, according to The Press Enterprise. (map)
The accident occurred around 2:59 a.m. Two motorcycles and two vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the freeway, just east of Buchanan Avenue.
As per the article, a statement released by Riverside Fire Department said one motorcycle caught fire following the collision. One male motorcyclist died while the other, a 33-year-old man, was rushed to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Meanwhile, the drivers of the other two vehicles sustained minor injuries.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
