Alexis Von Dasing Fatal Victim in Car Accident on I-10 Freeway Wednesday

Mecca, CA (March 31, 2021) – 25-year-old Alexis Von Dasing died following a traffic collision on Interstate 10 Freeway Wednesday morning, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Earlier reports indicated Alexis Von Dasing and another person were in a vehicle traveling east on I-10 Freeway. In the area east of Cactus City Rest Area in Mecca, the vehicles with two occupants crashed for an unknown reason.

Officials said the car rolled over multiple times. The force from the impact ejected Alexis Von Dasing. Responding medical personnel sadly pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, responding firefighters reportedly extricated the other person left trapped in the wreckage. An ambulance rushed the patient to an area hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Additional details on the collision have not been revealed thus far. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the car accident that killed Von Dasing.
