1 Killed in Nuevo Crash Near Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue
NUEVO, Calif. (November 21, 2022) – Alfonso Aparicio, 38, died in a Nuevo car accident Friday afternoon at the Ramona Expressway and Lakeview Avenue.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at about 5:31 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18th, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
It’s unknown at this time what led up to the collision between the motorists.
Cal Fire Riverside responded and located the vehicles identified as a green Ford Expedition and a gray Toyota sedan.
The California Highway Patrol stated that one of the vehicles had major damage from the crash.
At least one person became trapped in the wreckage and Alfonso Aparicio died the scene, the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner reported.
Meanwhile, CHP officers closed down a portion of the Ramona Expressway and Lakeview ton conduct an investigation into the cause of the crash
