Man Killed in Palmdale Hit-and-Run Crash
PALMDALE, Calif. (April 11, 2022) – Alfredo Leon, 21, of Palmdale, died Sunday morning in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Sierra Highway .
The crash occurred at 2:53 a.m. on April 10th in the northbound lanes of Sierra Highway between Technology Drive and Rancho Vista Boulevard, according to the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station.
The young man who died was identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
A driver in a white BMW was driving southbound on Sierra Highway. The driver struck the Palmdale man and fled the scene of the collision, police said.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene, authorities said.
Investigators are working on the case and are seeking the suspect. There are no further details immediately available.
