Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-10 in Alhambra
ALHAMBRA, Calif. (April 25, 2023) — A multi-vehicle Alhambra car accident happened Tuesday morning on the Interstate 10 Freeway, just east of Fremont Avenue.
The collision, involving four or five vehicles, occurred around 6:40 a.m. on April 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a gray Toyota RAV4 SUV, a white Chevrolet, a black Honda and a silver Kia Sorrento collided in the westbound Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the freeway. One of the motorists involved got out of his car, looked at his vehicle and fled the scene. The car had a lot of damage. A witness took a photo of the suspect’s vehicle before he fled.
Meanwhile, the Alhambra Fire Department responded to help those injured in the accident on the 10 Freeeway. Also, one tow truck responded to remove a vehicle with heavy front-end damage. Two other vehicles were also towed from the freeway.
Police Department and CHP are heading up the investigation into the cause of the crash and liability.
