Multi-Vehicle Alhambra Collision on I-10 Freeway
ALHAMBRA, Calif. (June 22, 2021) — An Alhambra crash on the 10 Freeway happened Tuesday afternoon just east of Garfield Avenue.
The drivers of a grey Ford F-150 pickup truck, a Toyota RAV4 and two other motorists collided about 1:19 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. One person suffered injuries in a vehicle with its airbags deployed. Additionally, police say the person’s face was bleeding. Finally, the Alhambra Fire Department responded to treat those hurt in the 10 Freeway Alhambra crash.
Traffic Stalled on Interstate 10 Freeway
The CHP reports the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes were blocked by vehicles. The drivers managed to get the cars off the freeway to the shoulder, however, two vehicles required tow trucks.
Meanwhile, investigators seek to determine the cause of the 10 Freeway Alhambra crash as well as liability. It’s unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol was a factor in the collision.
