ALHAMBRA: Hit-and-Run Driver Seriously Injures Mother and Daughter at Main and 4th Streets

ALHAMBRA, California (August 6, 2016) – A mother and a child were seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Friday night at Main and 4th streets, according to KTLA.
The collision occurred around 8:45 p.m.
As per the article, police said the woman and her daughter were walking in the crosswalk when they were hit by a car driven by 21-year-old Abundio Flores-Ramon, of Alhambra.
Both victims were taken to a hospital to be treated for major injuries. The mother was released while her daughter remains hospitalized.
Flores-Ramon did not stop and drove on Main Street, crashing into another vehicle. He was treated for facial injuries and was was charged with a felony DUI and a felony hit-and-run.
In a report by ABC 7, police described the child as a 3-year-old girl who is in serious but stable condition. Three other parties were transported with minor injuries.
