Police are piecing together evidence from the scene of the crash to determine liability. There were two parties involved in this collision, the driver and the pedestrian. Who had the right-of-way? Was there adequate lighting at the intersection? Was there negligence involved such as an illegal turn or speed, distracted driving or alcohol? These are all factors considered by police to determine fault. The family of the victim may consider hiring an independent attorney to conduct their own investigation. They may have grounds for a wrongful death lawsuit depending on the specific facts of this case. Contact Johnson Attorneys Group at 800-235-6801 to find out more in a free consultation.
