Eduardo Murillo Duran arrested after police pursuit
LITTLEROCK, Calif. (Oct. 11, 2018) – Four people were injured Wednesday afternoon in a collision involving three motorists following a police chase at 95th Street East and Avenue R, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The police chase began on Palmdale Boulevard near 50th Street East when officers saw a driver in a BMW with paper plates illegally passing other vehicles on the right shoulder at high speed. The driver failed to pull over and fled. He drove through several stop signs before crashing into a 2017 Ford Mustang about 1:45 p.m. at 95th and Avenue R. The impact caused the Mustang to careen into a 2013 Dodge Durango that was stopped at the intersection, the CHP report states.

He is also facing multiple charges, including felony evading a peace officer, driving under the influence, child endangerment, and assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer, the CHP report said. A 13-year-old boy who was in his vehicle was not hospitalized.
Paramedics rushed three others to Antelope Valley Hospital including Alicia Soto, 39, of Littlerock, and her passenger in the Dodge, a 2-year-old girl. They both suffered moderate injuries and are expected to survive.
Angel Pelayo, 18, of Littlerock, who was driving the Mustang, also sustained moderate injuries and was taken to the same hospital.
