1 Injured in Aliso Viejo Tesla Crash on State Route 73 at La Paz Road
ALISO VIEJO, CA (November 24, 2021) – At least one was hospitalized after a Tesla crash on State Route 73 and La Paz Road in Aliso Viejo.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly before 1:30 p.m.
According to CHP, a Tesla and a 2018 black Audi A4 collided for an unknown reason in Aliso Viejo. The two crashed on southbound on State Route 73 at the La Paz Road off-ramp.
2 Cars Collide
CHP added that one of the cars involved rolled over due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
The driver of the Audi complained of pain to their back as a result of the wreck. Medical personnel then took the patient to the Mission Hospital Mission Viejo for treatment of minor injuries.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the southbound State Route 73 at La Paz to shut down following the incident.
The cause of the Aliso Viejo crash is still under investigation.
