Allan King Jr., 37, Fatally Struck by Vehicle

DATE OF COLLISION: Tuesday, October 23rd
October 24, 2018- According to the East Bay Times, Allan King Jr., 37, of Walnut Grove, has been identified as the man who suffered fatal injuries following a pedestrian versus auto collision yesterday morning.
According to the report, the incident occurred at precisely 6:49 a.m. at the intersection of Crow Canyon Road and Iron Horse Trail.
Authorities have disclosed that a 4-door sedan has been traveling eastbound along Crow Canyon before hitting King Jr. who had been on a jog running along Iron Horse Trail.

The 37-year-old man sustained major life-threatening injuries for which he was immediately rushed to San Ramon Regional Med Center but tragically did not survive and succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the involved driver of the sedan did remain at the scene and was determined to have not been under the influence.
While it appears as though the motorist will be held at-fault, the investigation is pending at this time.
