Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Involving Car on Mariposa Road

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (Nov. 30, 2023) – Allante Taylor, 31, of Victorville, was identified as the motorcycle rider who died Monday at a hospital after a car accident on Mariposa Road in Victorville.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 27th, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office. The coroner later identified the rider as Allante Taylor.

The motorcyclist and a 2018 Honda Civic collided, just north of Monarch Boulevard, according to Victor Valley News Group.

The young man was riding a green and black 2014 Yamaha Bolt sports bike when the crash occurred, police said.

Paramedics responded and transported the injured man to a landing zone at Victor Valley Global Medical Center. Next, he was airlifted by Mercy Air helicopter to Loma Linda University Medical Center. He later died at the hospital due to severe injuries.

Meanwhile, the woman driving the Honda stopped and cooperated with authorities and the investigation.

The cause of the crash and liability remains under investigation.
