Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man on Auburn Street Saturday
Bakersfield, CA (November 15, 2021) – Alonso Delarosa, a 48-year-old Bakersfield resident, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Auburn Street.
The KGET News reported a vehicle struck an individual in the 4200 block of Auburn Street in northeast Bakersfield. At this time, the make and model of the car involved in the wreck remained unknown.
Officials said the horrible crash took place Saturday evening.

Shortly after 6:15 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the man found lying on the ground. Despite life-saving measures, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Authorities later identified the deceased as Alonso Delarosa.
Meanwhile, the article published online mentioned the driver involved in the collision stayed in the area and cooperated with the investigation process. Detectives continue to work at this time to determine liability in the deadly pedestrian accident in Bakersfield.
