8 to 10 Vehicles Damaged After Crash on 8 Freeway Near Dunbar Lane
ALPINE, San Diego County (June 10, 2018) – Several vehicles were damaged after crashing into concrete that was left on the westbound Interstate 8 Freeway Saturday morning, according to NBC News.
Concrete Blocks Intentionally Left on 8 Freeway in Alpine
As per the article, four 60 pounds of concrete parking stops and three cinder blocks were allegedly intentionally placed on the freeway, near Dunbar Lane, by unidentified suspects.
Passing automobiles on the interstate struck the concrete and sustained significant damages to their vehicles–including bent wheels and flat tires. Officials said eight to ten vehicles were involved in the accident.
At this time, the conditions of the people involved in the collision remained unknown.
The California Highway Patrol said investigation on the case is ongoing.
