2 Killed in Crash on Highway 14 at Backus Road Identified
KERN COUNTY, Calif. (November 9, 2022) — Alyssa Rene Miller, 22, and Jaiden William Moore, 21, died Tuesday in a head-on crash on Highway 14 near Backus Road in Mojave.
The two young people were riding in a vehicle that crashed with another motorist, possibly a semi-truck in the fast lane about 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1st, according to the Kern County coroner’s office. Other vehicles crashed into the two vehicles and two vehicles overturned onto their roof.
Jaiden Moore was driving a vehicle with Alyssa Miller as a passenger and both died at the scene., according to KGET.
The coroner office identified the two victims as residents of Boron.
The CHP’s Bishop office is investigating the crash to determine fault.
