Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle Near Hargrave Street
Banning, CA (February 1, 2023) – Alyssa Phelps, a 28-year-old female, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Interstate 10 Freeway.
According to My News LA, a woman was seen walking along the eastbound side of the freeway on January 31, Tuesday. In the area less than a mile east of Hargrave Street, a red Honda struck the female pedestrian. The horrible crash took place at approximately 6:20 p.m.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 in Banning
Emergency crews responded to the accident scene and found the victim lying on the ground. Riverside County Fire Department paramedics performed life-saving measures to the injured woman but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and passed away. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Police shut down the number three and four lanes of the freeway to give way to the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the deadly pedestrian accident that happened on Interstate 10 in Banning.
