Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on Highway 124 Near Lake Flint in Amador County
AMADOR COUNTY, Calif. (May 18, 2021) — An Amador County motorcycle crash happened Tuesday on Highway 124 near Lake Flint.
The California Highway Patrol reported the crash about 1:27 p.m. on May 18th near Buena Vista Road. The traffic accident took place about two miles from Ione and 36 miles from Stockton, California.
A motorcycle rider collided with a Volkswagen bug and another motorcycle due to unknown circumstances.
Major Injury Motorcycle Crash State Route 124
At least one of the motorcyclists suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. Police did not release the names of the drivers involved, nor their age and gender.
Tow trucks removed both motorcycles and the Volkswagen with rear-end damage.
Investigators will speak with witnesses and those involved in the collision. Police will determine liability for the Amador County motorcycle crash.
