Amanda Tilton, 25, Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Twentynine Palms Highway
TWENTYNINE PALMS, CA (April 2, 2021) – Amanda Tilton was killed after a pedestrian accident along Twentynine Palms Highway.
The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office said the 25-year-old Twentynine Palms woman died following the crash on Thursday night.
The incident happened when a vehicle struck a pedestrian, identified as Amanda Tilton, for an unknown reason. Deputies affirmed that the driver hit her on Twentynine Palms Highway.
Woman Hit by Vehicle Near Estrella Avenue
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Estrella Avenue. They found Amanda Tilton lying on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then rushed her to the High Desert Medical Center, where she died. A press release by the sheriff’s department reported the accident on April 1 at about 8:27 p.m.
Meanwhile, officers did not mention if the motorist involved stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the pedestrian. They forced the road to shut down for a time following the crash.
The cause of the fatal Twentynine Palms pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
