Amarpreet Ladhar and Russell McCloskey Seriously Injured in Highway 99 Accident
YUBA CITY (July 14, 2018) – Two drivers were seriously injured after a traffic collision in the area of Highway 99 and O’banion Road on Monday evening, according to Appeal-Democrat.
The accident took place on July 9 at about 5:23 p.m.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said 29-year-old Amarpreet Ladhar was driving north on Highway 99 approaching O’Banion Road when at the same time 43-year-old Russell McCloskey was approaching from the south.

For an unknown reason, the two motorists apparently collided head-on. It was not specified in the report who was at-fault in the cras.
Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to both parties who suffered major injuries following the wreck. Ladhar was flown to Sutter Roseville while McCloskey was transported by ground ambulance to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the two drivers were wearing their seatbelts when the collision occurred. Ladhar is from Benicia while McCloskey is an Oroville resident.
Authorities are gathering more information and evidence to determine what exactly caused the incident.
