Teenager Hit and Injured by Vehicle at Silver Oak Trail and Toscana Drive Wednesday
American Canyon, CA (March 10, 2022) – A 15-year-old boy suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Silver Oak Trail and Toscana Drive.
According to the American Canyon Eagle, a GMC sport-utility vehicle struck the teenager at the intersection in American Canyon. The collision took place Wednesday afternoon.
Pedestrian Airlifted to Hospital After Collision in American Canyon, March 9
Rescue teams arrived at the accident scene shortly after 3 p.m. Responding paramedics rendered aid to the teenager found with injuries. The article published online reported a California Highway Patrol helicopter airlifted the patient to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital in Oakland. The name of the injured party, and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
Investigators mentioned the pedestrian crossed the roadway outside of a crosswalk. Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver involved in the collision.
Detectives handling the case continue to work at this time to determine liability in the pedestrian accident at Silver Oak Trail and Toscana Drive in American Canyon.
