Pedestrian Seriously injured in Crash at Highway 29 and American Canyon Road
AMERICAN CANYON, CA (August 2, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash at Highway 29 and American Canyon Road.
According to an article published by The Napa Valley Register, the accident took place on Saturday morning. Officers reported the collision at about 9:09 a.m. in American Canyon.
The incident happened on July 31 when a female pedestrian was crossing the intersection of Highway 29 and American Canyon Road. At the same time, a 2006 Toyota Tacoma was going north on Highway 29.
The California Highway Patrol said the pickup truck then made a turn onto east American Canyon Road for an unknown reason. In the process, the Toyota struck the 64-year-old American Canyon woman in the crosswalk.

Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene. They found the victim who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed her to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment of a head trauma. They soon took her to the Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
