3 Children Accuse Dollar Store Employee of Sexual Assault
SYLMAR, Calif. (August 8, 2018) – Enrique Ramirez, 60, an American Dollar Plus employee, was arrested on July 26 and booked on suspicion of sexual assault involving three children under 12 years old, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The incidents took place at the store at 12737 Glenoaks Boulevard.
The victims were boys who were sexually assaulted several times and one of them filed a police report on July 17th. Just three days later police received a second victim’s report. The second boy was allegedly sexually assaulted by Ramirez over a 10-month period at the dollar store.
Police arrested Ramirez on July 26 after serving a warrant at the store. He is being held in lieu of $1.8 million bail.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed three felony counts against Ramirez, police said.
