Ana Amaral Moreira Killed, SUV Crashes into Manhattan Beach Laundromat

Woman Killed Inside Suds & Duds in Manhattan Beach Identified
MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. (June 15, 2026) – Ana Amaral Moreira, 61, died after she was hit by a SUV that crashed through the Suds & Duds Laundromat on North Aviation Boulevard in Manhattan Beach.
The deadly collision occurred around 8:05 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9th at 975 N. Aviation Blvd. A driver in a Mercedes-Benz SUV reportedly crashed through the windows of the building where the laundromat is located.
The Manhattan Beach Police Department responded to the scene of the collision and located the severely injured woman inside the laundromat. Unfortunately, the woman did not survive the crash due to her injuries.
Meanwhile, the driver of the SUV cooperated with authorities and the investigation, but drugs and or alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
