Auto vs. Big Rig Collision Near Grand Avenue Offramp
Diamond Bar, CA (May 1, 2022) – Ana Cruz-Sanchez, a 29-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Interstate 60.
The Daily Bulletin News reported a big rig and a sedan collided in the eastbound side of I-60, also known as Pomona Freeway, Sunday morning. Officials said the catastrophic incident took place near Grand Avenue offramp shortly after 6 a.m.

When rescue team arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the crash. Responding paramedics found at least one occupant unconscious in the mangled car. Despite life-saving measures, the female party sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. It remained unclear whether the fatal victim was the driver, or a passenger in the sedan. Authorities later identified the deceased as Ana Cruz-Sanchez, of Rialto.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the truck operator.
Investigators continue to gather several unclear factors surrounding the deadly crash in Diamond Bar.
