1 Killed in Anaheim Car Crash on Westbound 91 Freeway Near Imperial
ANAHEIM, CA (July 21, 2021) – A car crash killed at least one person on the 91 Freeway near Imperial Highway in Anaheim.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:45 p.m.
CHP said four vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Anaheim. They crashed on the westbound side of the 91 Freeway near Imperial Highway.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The incident log described two of the cars involved as a white Ford F-150 and a red Ford Mustang. The pickup truck rolled over and then came to a stop on its roof.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and confirmed that one individual died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased victim has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Officials did not mention if any other party ended up hurt following the wreck.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound lanes of 91 Freeway to shut down after the collision. Authorities are still determining the cause of the Anaheim car crash.
