At Least 1 Killed in Collision Near Santa Ana Canyon Road Friday
Anaheim, CA (January 7, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly car accident that occurred on State Route 91, also known as Riverside Freeway.
On Friday, a traffic collision took place on the eastbound lanes of the highway near Santa Ana Canyon Road. The exact number of cars involved in the wreck, and their description remained unknown.
CHP logged the incident at about 12:17 a.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, they found at least one person with serious injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Detectives continue to work at this time to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the fatal car crash on State Route 91 in Anaheim.
