1 Hospitalized After Collision on Highway 57 Sunday
Anaheim, CA (October 5, 2021) – On October 3, Sunday, a suspected hit-and-run crash occurred on State Route Highway 57 near the Katella Avenue offramp.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a traffic accident took place on the southbound lanes of the highway in Anaheim. Initial records indicated the wreck involved a gray sedan, and a blue Honda Civic.

For an unknown reason, the two vehicles collided near the Katella Avenue offramp at about 12:35 p.m. Following the crash, the man behind the wheel of the gray sedan apparently continued driving.
Responding medical personnel found at the scene at least one person with injuries to their hand. Authorities reportedly requested an ambulance to transfer the patient to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Additional details on the wreck have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the car crash on State Route 57 in Anaheim.
